How to Read Better (Article 6)

This post is about how to read better in English. It includes tips, tricks, and insights from my experience in the field.

If you’re struggling to understand what you’re reading, you’re not alone. Many people struggle with reading, especially in English.

However, I’ve been lucky enough to have some fantastic mentors and coaches over the years. I’ve learned so much from each of them, and I hope they can help you too.

My goal is to help you become a better reader.

STEP 1: Read A Lot

When I first started learning English, I only read news articles, essays, and other things that I thought were good. I didn’t even have a clue what I was reading.

I quickly realized that I had no idea what I was reading, so I decided to make it my mission to learn more about the subject.

I made it my life goal to read more books and I still do today.

If you want to become a better reader, you need to read a lot. You also need to read different types of content. It’s the only way you’ll be able to improve your skills.

STEP 2: Read With Focus

Reading is not an automatic process. If you want to get better at reading, you need to focus on what you’re reading.

That doesn’t mean you have to read every word in a sentence or even every word in a paragraph. It just means you need to focus on what you’re reading.

If you’re reading a book, for example, you should be reading sentences that have interesting content.

If you’re reading a blog post, you should be focusing on the main points of the article and not getting distracted by other things.

STEP 3: Learn From The Mistakes You Make

You’ll never improve if you don’t make mistakes. You can’t learn from experience if you don’t make mistakes.

It’s impossible to learn anything if you don’t make mistakes.

I know I’m being a bit dramatic here, but I think it’s important to emphasize this point.

STEP 4: Focus On One Thing At A Time

When you read, it’s easy to get distracted. You start reading one thing, and then you get distracted and read something else.

This is why it’s so important to focus on one thing at a time.

You should always have a goal or purpose for what you’re reading.

STEP 5: Focus On The Right Stuff

If you’re reading a book, for example, you should be focused on what you’re reading.

You should be thinking about the points you want to remember.

If you’re reading a blog post, you should be thinking about the main points.

STEP 6: Don’t Read Just For Pleasure

You need to make sure you’re doing this because you’re interested in the subject.

You can read about your interests, but it’s not enough if you just want to read for fun.

You need to read because you want to improve and learn.

STEP 7: Find A Mentor Or Coach

My mentor and coach was an English teacher who had a lot of experience teaching English to people who were learning English as a second language.

If you’re struggling with English, I highly recommend that you find someone like him or her.

They will have a ton of experience, and they will be able to give you invaluable advice.
